How to edit modify an existing website

Share

You can modify any existing website with your own content. Its is very very simply. You need to follow eight steps. It is temporary and your changes will not appear if you click refresh, back or front.

Step 1: Go to a website you need to modify. I have chosen Facebook to modify and right click on the text you need to edit and click inspect element.

Step: 2 You will see the text on the source code which you wanted to edit. Double click on that (Code) and type whatever you want. It will not be exactly same as shown in my computer. It may differ. I am using google chrome. If you are using other browsers this feature may not be available.

Now it will start showing the text you entered. It can be used where ever you want. It will not work only if the selected element is an image.

To replace the image right click on the image and click inspect element just like you have dont before for text. Now you need to find an image to replace with. Make sure you double click on the end of the url of the image. If you click the url it will just show the the image in new tab of source code area.

Now go to a different website to pick an image to replace with. I have chosen google.com. Right click on the image and click Open image in new tab. You can also click Copy image URL to copy the url

Now copy the url of he image from the address bar.
Now replace the new url to the old default url and click enter. NOTE: Put your URL inside "" these marks  ("www.example.jpg")

When you press enter it will look according to your code.

This modifications is just temporary and it will be shown only in your browser. If you close it and open it aain it will be replaced with own and default settings. If you have any doubts ask me in comments
